Investment platform «Potok» that helps small and medium-sized businesses find funding and investors to create a source of passive income.

Task

To develop a secure and aesthetically pleasing mobile application for investors, so they could:

• Open accounts: A simple and straightforward registration and account creation process.
• View analytics: Access to detailed data about their investments, including returns, risks, and market dynamics.
• Set up a strategy: Tools for creating and managing investment portfolios according to individual preferences.
• Top up their account: Convenient and secure ways to top up their account using various payment systems.
• Withdraw money: Quick and easy withdrawal of funds from the investment account.
• Edit their data: Update and manage personal information at any time.

Key Requirements

Security. Clients entrust the platform with personal data and account numbers. A leak of this information can have serious consequences, so security is the top priority.

Interface. The audience of investment platform is conservative. We aimed to create a modern and beautiful application while maintaining a logic that is understandable to all mobile banking users.

Solutions

1. Mobile application stores personal data, account numbers, transaction history, and portfolio information. To protect this information, we implemented local encryption, code obfuscation for access keys, and secure API access.

2.  We ensured that investors have all the familiar tools. When users first open the application, they need to enter their information and verify their passport details. The application recognizes photos, so this can be done quickly. Recognition also reduces the risk of errors. If a user does not complete the registration and exits the application, their progress is not lost. The next time they return, they will resume from where they left off. This naturally increases the number of registrations. The Personal Account is the financial management center in the mobile application. In it, you can:
   • Open an investor account quickly and easily;
   • Fund the investor account from a personal checking account;
   • Withdraw money;
   • Add an individual entrepreneur or legal entity to switch between profiles and invest in different capacities;
   • Connect multi-accounts to use different strategies, diversify risks, and compare results;
   • Set up a savings account.
   Analytics for accounts is displayed on real-time graphs. The graphs are dynamic and feature horizontal scrolling. You can tap on any point on the graph to view data for a specific point.

3. We developed a familiar yet engaging interface and created a design system with a set of visual components, typography, and colors. Investment platform's signature 3D elements are at its core.

The mobile application interface is user-friendly. Buttons are always bright, and if a user taps an unavailable function, a pop-up window with tips appears. The typography is concise. The fonts are easy to read on the screen, and there is enough contrast between the background and the text.
